Just in time for National Ice Cream Month (July), we’ve partnered with Ashley’s Ice Cream (one of our wonderful community partners for last year’s event and the hands-down BEST ice cream on the planet!), to hold an official national USCS ice cream flavor contest.
100% of the proceeds from the yummy campaign will benefit one of five local kid-centered charities in each of Ashley’s five locations:
Life Haven (New Haven)
Guiford Free Library’s Children’s Room Adopt-a-Book Program (Guilford)
The Children’s Place at Connecticut Hospice (Branford)
The Children’s Center of Hamden (Hamden) and
UCan2′s LifeStraw project (Madison)
The winner and his/her flavor will be featured on our website and will receive a $25 Ashley’s gift certificate (or comparable prize, for all you out-of-staters), USCS t-shirt and bragging rights!
