A non-profit will steward the open process so that namespace rules are written by and for humans and the networks that serve them.
The Internet succeeded because its protocols were open. Its future namespace systems should be open as well.
Ways to contribute
- Review and critique the draft specification and architecture.
- Propose concrete designs for staking, token allocation, dispute courts, and humanity methods.
- Implement open-source DNS, agent interfaces, or Gold server components.
- Run experiments as an ISP or institutional operator.
- Help define the non-profit governance that will hold the standard and the Gold server role.
- Write, speak, or teach about cooperative namespace authority.

Motivational notes
Authority to create digital namespaces should belong to the communities that build and operate networks.
Cryptographic proof should be preferred over institutional trust alone.
Incremental deployment is a feature, not a compromise.
Multiple trust and governance models must be allowed.
The protocol must remain separate from any particular token, blockchain, company, or product.
The need is current. Root server governance discussions continue to surface questions of representation and accountability. An agentic, blockchain-mediated, humanity-aligned path is one way to move beyond stalemate.
Join the conversation. Help write the rules that should have been written in the open from the beginning.
